Growing Up Africa

The Devland Community Education Campus is pro-bono project with Growing Up Africa, a non-profit whose primary mission is to provide ecology-based education for pre-elementary school children in South Africa. This 1400 square meter building is located in Soweto just outside Johannesburg. The building is an assembly of multipurpose classrooms and meeting spaces that anchored by a large auditorium. The structure also includes a large cafeteria and "teaching kitchen" to accommodate vocational training in the culinary arts and hospitality services.
